I have also been thinking about trying cross country and/or barrel racing. I do want to go on trail rides eventually when I'm able to. It takes my mind off of my dad's passing from Augtoo. Riding is the best, most enjoyable, and most funnest activity for me personally. Which was the first day I have ever been on a horse in my life. There are many others that are equally impressive! Once in a while, a special horse stands out from the crowd.I have been taking lessons since December 8, 2022. He was a Quarter horse gelding born in 1948. Scamper and James won 10 WPRA World Barrel Racing Championships. Gills Bay Boy: Ridden by Charmayne James, this bay Quarter horse gelding was born in 1977.They even won three consecutive world championships from 2018 to 2020. Together, they’ve had a lot of success in the barrel racing industry. DM Sissy Hayday: Hailey Kinsel rides this palomino Quarter horse.‘Babyflo’ won the 2013 AQHA/WPRA Barrel Horse of the Year and 2014 WPRA Barrel Racing World Championship with Fallon. Flo’s Heiress: This beautiful Appendix Quarter horse mare is owned by Fallon Taylor. He competed in the NFR from 1978 to 1981. Sonny Bit O’Both: A bay Quarter horse owned by Martha Josey.If you’re a fellow barrel racer, then you’re probably familiar with a few of these amazing horses. Some have really risen to the occasion and become champions in the industry. The sport of barrel racing is fast and wild! It takes an agile horse with powerful hindquarters and a strong work ethic.
